vanilla almond smoothie // cinnamon + dates

vanilla almond smoothie // cinnamon + dates
I am keeping my smoothie game strong this year by switching it up with new to me combinations. This smoothie is super easy to make and is great after a workout or when you want a little something sweet after dinner, and of course you could totally enjoy this at breakfast.

Soaking the almonds isn't necessary, if you have time or think of it the night before soaking is always best. Honestly, I always forget to soak my almonds...

I love the using the ground vanilla I received in my Globe In Box, it was the perfect use for it.

Justin and I are still plugging away on our home renovations, the upstairs is nearly complete. On Saturday mornings we like to fuel ourselves with a breakfast that won't weigh us down which in turn pretty much makes us useless for the rest of the day, a typical Saturday Breakfast for us would be a smoothie and an english muffin with a nut butter- this gives us plenty of energy and lets us work well into the afternoon before breaking for lunch.

Once our upstairs is complete we will be ready to tackle our front living space- we are looking for recommendations on reclining sectionals so if you have any advice or an experience feel free to share, I am super indecisive when it comes to big decisions and tend to over think what I want and teeter back and forth before finally committing. I like to have as much information (facts + opinions)  and see all my options before making a final decision on anything.
