Vegan Foodie Swap

I have to say, this foodie swap box has been the best yet- I was awesomely paired up with Sandy who has been a vegan for over 20 years (amazing!) my box was filled was some pretty incredible items.

1. Local Tomato Butter - can't wait to try this!
2. Wacky Walnut Brownie - Justin tells me this was really good :)
3. Thai Red Curry Paste - I love curry so this was perfect
4. Vegan Chocolate Sprinkles- YES!!
5. Boulder Canyon Chips, Malt Vinegar & Sea Salt - OMG amazing, Sandy said in her note these were have favorite - they're mine now too, literally addicting!
6. Farro Garden Vegetable - loved this, we sauteed up some veggies from the Garden and served them over this farro - really, really good.
7. Sea Snax- well, these were really different

8.The best thing - Sandy's boyfriend is the inventor of the VEGG - so cool!
She sent me a packet of vegg with the sodium chloride in case I wanted to experiment with making a "yolk" really thoughtful addition. I purchased a bag of VEGG on amazon and was super pumped that I now have 2 bags of this amazing product.

Along with my package was a wonderful little note to go along with my goodies.

  1. What an interesting idea! Recently I was looking for vegan chocolate and was surprised by how difficult that was; most bars contain trace amounts of dairy. I hadn't realised something so simple, might turn out to be, not so simple at all!

  4. You really scored this time around! I love the sound of tomato butter and you'll definitely have to let us know how this Vegg is- I'm so curious since fried eggs are what I miss most!

  5. woooww.. tomato butter.. inventor of the Vegg! I saw some Vegg reviews and am not convinced about whether i want it yet:) 20 years is a long time. i'd love to get a package from her any day!
